Liz Outhit is a Junior Evaluation Consultant with Ference & Company. Prior to joining Ference & Company in 2021, Liz completed a Master of Science in Global Health at McMaster University and a Diploma in Water Without Borders, a collaboration between McMaster and the United Nations University Institute of Water Environment and Health. She also holds a First Class Honours Bachelor of Sciences in Neuroscience, with a Minor in Applied Ethics from Dalhousie University. Liz’s research experience includes projects in Bio-medical Engineering, Molecular Neuroscience, Medical Philosophy, Healthcare Regulations/Practices and Water Governance. Liz’s recent work experience consists of a Public Health Internship with the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness on the COVID-19 testing team. She provided policy research and was integral in developing a risk assessment framework to inform community-based COVID-19 testing interventions. Additionally, Liz worked in Nova Scotia’s Long-Term Care sector, including during a COVID-19 outbreak.
