Danica Dahlin is an Evaluation Consultant with Ference & Company. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Science, specializing in International Relations from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, specializing in Canadian Social Policy and Comparative Politics from the University of Lethbridge. Since joining Ference & Company in 2022, Danica has supported evaluations and primary research projects focusing on social equity of underserved populations for government and non-profit organizations. She brings a deep interest in participatory policymaking processes and the validation of quantitative with qualitative data forward into her evaluation and research work. In her role, Danica conducts academic and grey literature and document reviews, conducts interviews and surveys, analyzes, and synthesizes qualitative and quantitative data, and supports report writing and the design of actionable, pragmatic recommendations.
Prior to joining the firm, Danica worked with several refugee-serving organizations and projects, including the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, and partook in a research project aimed at developing and implementing a new athletic pathway for refugee resettlement, which led to the resettlement of three Refugee Olympians to Canada.
