Anna Balsevich is an Evaluation Consultant with Ference & Company. She holds a Master of Public Health degree from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of British Columbia. Since joining Ference & Company in 2021, Anna has supported and lead evaluations of provincial and federal level programs. Her work includes evaluation projects that focus on the design, delivery, and relevance of federal programs and working with Indigenous organizations. In her role, Anna develops work plans and data collection tools, conducts interviews, surveys, and document reviews, analyzes qualitative and quantitative data, and writes reports.
Prior to joining the firm, Anna participated as a finalist in the Canadian Evaluation Society’s Student Case Competition, helped coordinate a cash-transfer research project, and worked on a hospital-based project that focused on improving care for perinatal patients admitted to the acute psychiatry unit. Anna has also spent time volunteering with a mobile care unit on Vancouver’s West Side that aims to assist people experiencing homelessness with housing and identification applications.
